About the practice.
Op. Dr. Alper Aras is an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon practising in Istanbul. He completed his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, followed by oculoplastic training at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital. He has practised ophthalmic and oculofacial surgery for over thirty years.
His clinical interests include upper-eyelid surgery, cataract surgery with premium intraocular lens implantation, refractive surgery (LASIK, SMILE, and LASEK), and periorbital aesthetic procedures.
Patients are seen at the Kızılay Altıntepe Medical Center in Bostancı, on the Asian side of Istanbul.

Botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid filler applications in the eye area, guided by orbital anatomy.
ViewCataract Surgery
Phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation. The lens — monofocal, EDOF, or trifocal — is selected following a biometric workup and discussion of the patient's visual needs.
ViewRefractive Surgery (LASIK)
LASIK, SMILE, and LASEK procedures for myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. Modality is chosen on the basis of corneal topography, pachymetry, and tear-film evaluation.

A full hospital with operating theatres, located in Bostancı on the Asian side of Istanbul.
All surgical procedures are performed within the hospital; in-clinic aesthetic procedures are carried out in the medical center's own treatment rooms.
